This extra-warm mountaineering sweater for guys & gals is made from O-Wool™, a USDA-certified 100% organic wool yarn that provides a soft, natural look and feel unlike conventional wool garments. O-Wool is minimally processed without chemicals, reducing impact on environment and wearer alike; it also retains more of the wool's inherent protective properties—including water & weather resistance—making this sweater great for the outdoors. We've styled it after an original alpinist sweater, with a thick shawl collar that can be rolled up and buttoned against the wind. Washable leather patches on the elbows add wear-resistance and a classic look. Rib-knitting lets the sweater fit close without binding. Imported. Hand wash. See fit tab for sizing.
